I heard the news this afternoon that Tim Russert had passed away suddenly. He was so young, how could that be? Even though Tim was a little to far to the left for my comfort, he was a great person for the job he did at NBC.
Meet the Press has been his show for a long time and I appreciated his thoughfulness on most issues and even when I came from a different perspective, I could see his point of view.
Sunday mornings won’t be the same, I am saddened.
